How do I register for a course?
There are two ways to register. The first option is to print out a registration form, which can be found here. Then fill it out and fax it to 504-469-7588.
The second option is for members, or for companies that pay $100 per year. You can register for a course online by clicking here.
What exactly is reciprocity and the Association of
Reciprocal Safety Councils, Inc. (ARSC)?
ARSC member councils are councils whose training meets the standards set for certain non-site-specific courses such as Basic Orientation Plus. (Additional courses will be added in the future). These courses are transferable from one member council to another. Your employee does not have to retake a transferable course if he has passed the course within the year at an ARSC member council. My employees have Basic Orientation Plus or Confined Space from another council. Will you accept this card?
Yes, provided your employee can present a current ID badge showing this training from another ARSC member safety council.
